Ocean Ink policies

Packaging:
Ocean Ink jewelry comes in a clear package with a recycled card stock backer and larger pendants will be packaged in a small box with the Ocean Ink logo. Orders with multiple pieces will be mailed in one box, unless you request otherwise.

Shipping:

Ocean Ink uses Etsy as the primary online storefront.

Shipping in the US is free with all Ocean Ink jewelry.

Unless otherwise indicated, please allow up 3-5 business days to process your order before your jewelry ships out. Almost all orders are shipped via USPS ground and you should receive tracking information to the email address you provided upon purchasing. If you did not get it please email me at info@ocean-ink.com. This is the only thing Ocean Ink will use you email address for and we will not share it with anyone for any reason.

Returns:

If you are not pleased with your Ocean Ink jewelry please contact us and let me know before leaving feedback. Please feel free to email us with any questions or concerns you may have. (Except custom orders and commissions cannot not be returned.)

Ocean Ink jewelry is 100% quality guaranteed so if there is any issue with your jewelry upon arrival, it will be replaced with a comparable item, as close to the original design and materials as I can make it. Please keep in mind that most of my creations are made from limited materials and some are one-of-a-kind.

 

Refunds/Cancellations:
We are happy to issue a refund on undamaged/unworn jewelry when notified by buyer WITHIN 3 Days of arrival and sent back within 7 business days.
Buyer pays for the return shipping via first class mail which is NON-REFUNDABLE and must be mailed within 3 days of requested return. Please forward tracking information to info@ocean-ink.com.


If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Custom creations and commissions:

Please contact us if you have a special request for colors or materials. All items on the website are "as is" so any alteration may cost extra. If you would like to request a different color of gem, shell or stone I am happy to check my materials but be aware that could delay the shipping and price. This includes personalized items. Higher quality materials will of course cost extra. Buyer approval will be required before final purchase and shipping occurs.

Alterations:

If you need a functional basic alteration, like a magnetic clasp or different length of chain, please contact us and we can work out the details. Changes of this nature are not considered custom as in the previous paragraph but could add to the shipping time and in rare cases increase the cost.
